On Sunday night, the Tulane Green Wave will be taking on the #17 St. John's Red Storm in a game between two good defensive squads. The Green Wave have won one of their two road games this season, while the Red Storm are 8-0 at home.

Tulane had their long winning streak come to an end last Monday when Washington defeated them 66-57 on the road. Tulane had one of their worst shooting nights of the season in that one, finishing with just a 31.7 field goal percentage.

Tulane's defense has been solid through their first 11 games, holding opponents to just 61 points per game. Junior guard Louis Dabney has had a pretty good start to the season by leading the team in scoring with 12.5 points per game and making 44.7 percent of his three-pointers.

St. John's had a 42-point second half in their game against Long Beach State last Monday and rolled to a 66-49 home win. They made 45 percent of their shots as a team in that game and only turned the ball over seven times.

The Red Storm are currently in the top 10 in the nation in both rebounding and team assists per game. Senior guard D'Angelo Harrison has been able to score 18.8 points per game while grabbing 6.9 rebounds per game, and junior forward Chris Obekpa is currently the team's leading rebounder with 8.8 per game.
