On Sunday afternoon, the Texas Southern Tigers will be going on the road to face the Kansas State Wildcats, who have won four out of their last five games. So far this season, the Tigers are just 1-9 away from home, while the Wildcats have won all five of their home games.

Texas Southern has now lost nine of their first 11 games after losing 61-60 to Auburn on the road last Tuesday. They played pretty good defense in that loss, but their offense ended up turning the ball over 18 times.

Through 11 games, the Tigers are one of the lowest scoring teams in the country by averaging just 60.4 points per game. Their top performer so far this season has been junior forward Chris Thomas, who is currently averaging 15.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game.

In their last game, Kansas State picked up their third consecutive win by beating Texas A&M 71-64. They had a great shooting night in that win, finishing with a solid 61.5 field goal percentage.

The Wildcats have one of the best field goal percentages in the nation right now by making 48 percent of their shots. Sophomore guard Marcus Foster leads Kansas State in scoring right now with 14.8 points per game, while senior forward Thomas Gipson has scored 11.5 points per game while making 67.9 percent of his field goal attempts.
