In college basketball Friday night, the Texas Southern Tigers will travel to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Texas Southern has struggled to start the season, winning just 1 of their first 7. The Tigers are coming off a road loss at Baylor. For Florida, Billy Donovan is looking to right the ship. The Tigers are led in scoring by Chris Thomas, with 16.3 per game. In the loss to Baylor, Thomas scored 15 and recorded 6 rebounds. Texas Southern is a member of the SWAC conference.
