Two teams out of Philadelphia will get together in a huge rivalry game on Wednesday night. The Temple Owls and St. Joseph Hawks will get together at Hagan Arena. The Owls come into the game sporting a 4-2 record. This is the first true road game for the Owls this season. On the other side, St. Joseph is 3-3 this season, 2-1 on the road. The Owls are in the American Athletic Conference, while St. Joseph plays out the Atlantic 10 Conference.

St. Joseph has wins over Drexel, Vermont and Long Island. The losses for the Hawks have come to Farleigh Dickinson, at Gonzaga and then their most recent to Western Kentucky. For Temple, they started the season with a 40-37 win over American, followed by an 82-75 decision against Louisiana Tech. The Owls fell to Duke on November 21st and UNLV the next day. The Owls are using 15.2 points per game from Will Cummings and 12 from Quenton DeCosey. Temple saw DeCosey score 15 and Jaylen Bond add 15 rebounds in the 70-56 win over Long Island. The Owls are scoring 62 points per game as a team.
