Saturday afternoon, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights will meet the Seton Hall Pirates.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights escaped with a 69 - 64 victory over the Clemson Tigers in their last game on Monday night.  Rutgers took control early but Clemson wouldn’t let the Scarlet Knights get too far ahead of them.  Clemson briefly took the lead but the game was tied at 33 all at the break.  Clemson held the advantage most of the 2nd half but Rutgers came alive in the last minutes of the game to steal the win.  The Scarlet Knights shot 43% overall and 36% from the distance as they were led by Junior Etou and his 20 points.  Rutgers might have been a little fatigued in their last game but they should be well rested and ready for Seton Hall.

The Seton Hall Pirates lived up to their name as they laid siege to the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers 78 - 55 on Tuesday night.  Mount St. Mary’s hung in there for the early stages of the game but after Seton Hall as finished toying with them, they broke the game open.  At the half, the Pirates were up 45 -29 and the game was virtually over.  Seton Hall continued pounding their opponents into submission the rest of the way.  The Pirates shot an impressive 64% from the field as they were paced by Khadeen Carrington as he scored 16 points on 8 for 8 shooting.  The Scarlet Knights could be in for trouble if the Pirates shoot another high percentage game on Saturday.
