The Oregon Ducks will be facing off against the Illinois Fighting Illini on Saturday night in a game between two of the highest scoring teams in the country. The Ducks were able to beat the Fighting Illini 71-64 last season.

Oregon saw their two-game winning streak come to an end last Sunday when Ole Miss beat them 79-73 at home. The Ducks only ended up with eight turnovers in that loss, but they also only made 37.5 percent of their shots.

Through their first eight games of the season, the Ducks are in the top five in the nation in rebounding with nearly 45 boards per game. The best player on their teams so far this year has been senior guard Joseph Young, who is averaging 20.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game.

On Tuesday, Illinois had a hard time hitting their shots against Villanova and ended up losing 73-59. In that loss, they shot just 41 percent from the field and ended up turning the ball over 14 times.

So far this year, the Fighting Illini have been able to score 81.1 points per game while only giving up 63.9 points per game. Senior guard Rayvonte Rice has made 50 percent of his shots this season and is currently averaging 16.6 points and seven rebounds per game. Sophomore guard Malcolm Hill has also played well by averaging 14.6 points and 5.8 boards per game.
