The #16 Oklahoma Sooners will be going on the road to take on the struggling offense of the Tulsa Hurricane on Saturday afternoon. Last season, the Sooners were able to defeat the Hurricane 101-91 at home.

Last Friday, Oklahoma picked up their fifth win of the year when they easily beat Missouri 82-63 at home. They made over 57 percent of their shots in that game, including going 10-for-20 from long distance.

Through seven games, the Sooners are in the top 15 in the country in rebounding by grabbing 42.3 boards per game. Their go-to player has been junior guard Buddy Hield, who is now averaging 16.7 points, six rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. Junior forward Ryan Spangler has scored 10 points per game while grabbing a team-best 8.9 rebounds per game.

Tulsa had their two-game winning streak come to an end on Wednesday when SE Oklahoma State pulled off a 69-66 upset. The Hurricane couldn't hit their shots in that loss, finishing with just a 34.8 field goal percentage.

Tulsa currently has one of the lowest scoring offenses in the country by averaging just 64.9 points per game. Junior guard James Woodard has been the team's leading scorer with 14.4 points per game, and he has also grabbed 5.6 rebounds per game for the Hurricane. Guard Rashad Smith is their leading rebounder with 6.3 boards per game.
