Tuesday night, the Oklahoma State Cowboys will face the Missouri Tigers.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys saw their 2 game win streak end on December 21^st when they lost 73 - 64 to the Maryland Terrapins. Maryland took control early but Oklahoma State battled back late in the 1^st half before going down by 5 points at halftime. But that small deficit grew in the beginning of the 2^nd half as the Terrapins opened up a 17 point lead. The Cowboys never found a way to cut into the double-digit deficit the rest of the way. Le'Bryan Nash paced the Cowboys with 17 points as Oklahoma State shot 42% overall and 29% from distance. Oklahoma State played a decent game but they just couldn't stop Maryland. There should be a chance for the Cowboys to get the victory over a slumping Missouri team.

The Missouri Tigers took their 2^nd straight loss on December 20^th when they fell to the Illinois Fighting Illini 62 - 59. The game was tight early on with the Illini managing to stay a small step ahead of the Tigers in the beginning. Missouri briefly took the lead but by the half, they were down by just 2 points. The 2^nd half was just as close and with just seconds left, Missouri took the lead. But Illinois got a three-pointer to escape with the win. Missouri shot 44% from the field as they were led by Johnathon Williams III and his 15 points. The Tigers made that game closer than expected and if they can put the same effort up against Oklahoma State, they might end their slide.
