The Northwestern State Demons will be going up against the Arkansas Razorbacks on Sunday in a game that will feature two high-scoring offenses. The Demons have only won one of their five road games so far this year, while the Razorbacks are 8-0 on their home floor.

Northwestern State was able to snap their two-game losing streak by beating UL Lafayette 89-85 at home last Saturday. They made 48.6 percent of their shots in that win and their defense was able to force 18 turnovers.

Right now, the Demons are in the top 30 in the country in scoring with 78 points per game, but they have also given up 84.3 points per game. Guard Zikiteran Woodley has been their best offensive player by averaging 23.3 points per game and making nearly 60 percent of his shots. Senior center Marvin Frazier currently leads the team in rebounding with 7.7 per game.

In their last game, Arkansas picked up their third straight win by routing Milwaukee 84-54 on their home court. Their defense held Milwaukee to a 28.8 field goal percentage and was able to force them into committing 19 turnovers.

Through 11 games this season, the Razorbacks are one of the top scoring teams in the nation by averaging 83.5 points per game. Sophomore forward Bobby Portis is currently averaging a team-high 16.7 points per game while making 57.1 percent of his three-pointers.
