On Monday night, the North Texas Mean Green will be visiting the Texas Tech Red Raiders, who are currently on a two-game losing streak. The Mean Green have yet to win a road game this season, while Texas Tech is 9-0 at home.

North Texas had their two-game winning streak snapped last Tuesday when they lost 70-67 to Prairie View at home. They did shoot the ball pretty well in that loss, but they also ended up turning the ball over 17 times.

Through their first 11 games this year, the Mean Green have not shared the ball well, averaging just 11 team assists per game. Senior guard Jordan Williams has led the way for the Mean Green by averaging 14.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game.

Last Tuesday, Texas Tech lost their second game in a row when Houston defeated them 82-69. They made just 19 of their 28 free throws in that loss and they allowed Houston to finish with a high 54 field goal percentage.

The Red Raiders have played well on the defensive end of the court this season, giving up just 58.9 points per game to their opponents. Freshman guard Devaugntah Williams is leading the team in scoring with 11.4 points per game this season, while freshman forward Norense Odiase has averaged 8.4 points and a team-high 4.8 rebounds per game.
