The Michigan Wolverines will have a tough time snapping their losing streak as they have to go on the road to face the #3 Arizona Wildcats on Saturday night. Last December, the Wildcats were able to edge the Wolverines 72-70 in Michigan.

On Tuesday night, Michigan lost their second game in a row when Eastern Michigan came into town and upset them 45-42. The Wolverines made just four of their 21 three-point attempts and were outrebounded 36-27.

The Wolverines have played well defensively this season, giving up just 61.1 points per game to their opponents. Junior guard Caris LeVert has had a very good start to the year by averaging 17.7 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game.

Arizona was able to keep their undefeated record intact on Tuesday night when they blew out Utah Valley 87-56 at home. They made nearly 60 percent of their shot attempts in that win while also finishing with a 40-23 rebounding edge.

Through nine games, the Wildcats are scoring 76 points per game while making nearly 50 percent of their shots. Their top performer has been sophomore forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, who is now averaging 12.7 points and 6.7 rebounds while making 58.5 percent of his shots. Their leading scorer is currently freshman forward Stanley Johnson, who has scored 13.8 points per game while grabbing 6.4 rebounds per game.
