There is a big game scheduled in the Big Ten Tuesday night. The Michigan State Spartans will host the Maryland Terrapins. This is the first Big Ten game for the Terrapins. In the win over The Citadel Valentine led the way with 18 points and 6 rebounds.

For Maryland, their lone loss in 2014 came December 3rd to the Virginia Cavaliers. The Terrapins have won five straight games. The best wins for the Terrapins this season came on November 25th over Iowa State, and most recently against Oklahoma State. Melo Trimble and Jake Layman are both scoring 15.8 points per game to lead the Terrapins. In the win over Oakland, Trimble scored 17 points, and Layman added 12 rebounds.
