The Marist Red Foxes will want to end their two-game losing streak on Sunday afternoon when they take on the Manhattan Jaspers. Last year, Manhattan was able to win their game against Marist 70-59 on the road.

In their last game, Marist suffered their second loss in a row when Monmouth beat them 57-50 at home. They shot just 43.2 percent from the field as a team in that loss and ended up turning the ball over 21 times.

The Red Foxes currently have one of the lowest-scoring offenses in the country by averaging just 58.7 points per game. The one player on their team who has played consistently well this year has been sophomore guard Khallid Hart, who is averaging 24.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.

Manhattan lost their third game in a row on Friday when Fairfield defeated them 67-54 on the road. The Jaspers did not take good care of the ball in that loss, turning it over 21 times.

Through their first six games, the Jaspers are near the bottom of the country in rebounding by averaging just 27.2 boards per game. Senior forward Emmy Andujar has been one of their better players this year by averaging 10.7 points and a team-high seven rebounds per game. Their leading scorer is junior forward Shane Richards, who is averaging 14.5 points per game.
