On Monday night, the Kennesaw State Owls will have a tough time ending their losing streak as they have to go on the road to take on the #23 Butler Bulldogs. The Owls have yet to win a road game this season, while the Bulldogs have been able to win all three of their home games.

Kennesaw State lost their second consecutive game on Saturday when Kent State beat them 58-46. They were only able to make 32.6 percent of their shots in that loss and they ended up turning the ball over 19 times.

Through their first nine games, Kennesaw State has one of the worst defenses in the country by giving up over 70 points per game. Junior guard Yonel Brown has been their top player through nine games by scoring 13 points per game and making over 40 percent of his three-pointers.

On Saturday, Butler picked up their third straight win when they defeated Northwestern 65-56 on their home floor. They only committed nine team turnovers in that game while also holding Northwestern to just a 40.7 field goal percentage. Senior forward Orlando Coleman is now averaging 8.4 points and a team-high 6.6 rebounds per game.

So far this year, the Bulldogs have had one of the top 15 defenses in the nation by giving up right around 55 points per game. Junior guard Kellen Dunham has been their top scorer through eight games by averaging 16.8 points per game.
