The #10 Kansas Jayhawks will be going for their sixth consecutive win on Wednesday night when they visit the Georgetown Hoyas. Last season, the Jayhawks were able to blow out the Hoyas 86-64 at home.

Kansas was down by 15 points at the half in their game against the Florida Gators last Friday, but they fought back and ended up winning 71-65 in front of their home crowd. They were solid on the boards in that win, outrebounding the Gators 35-27.

Through seven games, the Jayhawks have one of the top rebounding teams in the country by averaging 40 rebounds per game. Their best player has been junior forward Perry Ellis, who is scoring 14.6 points per game while grabbing a team-high 6.7 rebounds per game. Freshman forward Cliff Alexander has also had a good start to the year by averaging 10 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

On Sunday, Georgetown snapped their two-game losing skid by defeating Towson 78-46 at home. They made 11 of their 22 three-point attempts in that win and finished with a 54.9 field goal percentage.

The Hoyas have been able to average 72.6 points per game this season while only giving up 61.9 points per game. Senior center Joshua Smith has been able to average 12.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game this season while making 66.7 percent of his shots.
