On Wednesday, the High Point Panthers will be facing the toughest opponent on their schedule when they visit the #12 Ohio State Buckeyes. Ohio State has yet to lose at home this season, winning all five of those games.

Last weekend, High Point won their second game in a row when they edged William & Mary 66-63 at home. They didn't shoot particularly well in that game, but they only ended up turning the ball over 10 times.

High Point's defense has allowed opposing offenses to score nearly 70 points per game against them. Their best player has been junior forward John Brown, who is now averaging 20.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.2 steals per game.

Ohio State shot the ball well last Saturday and were able to easily defeat Colgate 70-50 at home. They were able to make nine of their 22 three-pointers in that win and finished the game with a 46.6 field goal percentage.

Through their first seven games of the year, the Buckeyes have shot over 51 percent from the field and they are averaging over 80 points per game. Their go-to player has been freshman guard D'Angelo Russell, who is now averaging 18 points, 5.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game. Their top rebounder has been senior center Amir Williams, who is grabbing 5.7 boards per game to go along with his 7.8 points per game.
