The Georgia Bulldogs will attempt to keep their hot streak going when they play the Kansas State Wildcats on Wednesday night. Georgia is 1-1 on the road so far this season, while the Wildcats have been able to win five of their six home games.

Last Saturday, Georgia won their fourth game in a row when they beat Mercer 86-77 in three overtimes. They didn't shoot the ball particularly well in that game, but they did end up with a dominant 57-40 rebounding advantage.

So far this year, the Bulldogs are averaging 74.8 points per game and have made 46.6 percent of their shots. Senior forward Marcus Thornton has scored a team-high 14.9 points per game while grabbing 7.5 rebounds per game this season.

Kansas State had their three-game winning streak snapped over the weekend when Texas Southern beat them 58-56 in Kansas. The Wildcats lost that game despite making nearly 49 percent of their shots and only turning the ball over 10 times.

Through 12 games, the Wildcats are scoring 70.2 points per game while holding their opponents to just 65.3 points per game. So far this year the Wildcats have been led by sophomore guard Marcus Foster, who is now averaging 15 points per game while making 46.9 percent of his three-pointers. Their top rebounder is senior forward Nino Williams, who has grabbed 4.8 rebounds per game.
