On Sunday afternoon, the Florida State Seminoles will be going up against the Massachusetts Minutemen in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off. The Seminoles and the Minutes played each other late in December last season, with Florida State coming away with a 60-55 win.

One thing that Florida State has done well so far this season is make their baskets. In their first two games of the year, they made nearly 55 percent of their shots as a team, which makes them one of the top 20 shooting teams in the nation. They have struggled on defense, though, by giving up over 70 points per game to their opponents.

The Seminoles rely heavily on junior guard Aaron Thomas, who is their top scorer but also leads the team in turnovers per game. Their top rebounder so far this season has been guard Montay Brandon, while Devon Bookert has been their best assist man.

Massachusetts came into the weekend as one of the top blocking teams in the country by blocking six shots per game. They, too, have had an issue with allowing opponents to easily score against the, giving up over 70 points per game through three games.

One player on Massachusetts that every team will have to look out for is senior center Cady Lalanne, who averages a double-double for the Minutemen with over four blocks per game. Their top scorer is senior forward Maxie Esho, who also leads the team in field goal percentage.
