On Friday, the Duquesne Dukes will get to see just how good their offense really is when they visit the Pittsburgh Panthers. Early on during the 2013-14 season, the Panthers defeated the Dukes 86-67.

Duquesne shot the ball very well in their game against Howard on Tuesday and ended up routing them 81-63 at home. They made 52.5 percent of their field goal attempts in that win, and their defense was able to force 16 turnovers.

So far this season, Duquesne has had one of the top offenses in the country by scoring 88.8 points per game through their first four games. Their top player has been junior guard Jordan Stevens, who is now averaging 17.3 points, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Guard Micah Mason has also played well by averaging 13.5 points, five assists and 4.3 rebounds per game.

On Tuesday night, Pittsburgh had a hard time making their shots in their game against Indiana and ended up suffering an 81-69 road loss. They had just 11 turnovers in that game, but their they also only made 36.1 percent of their field goal attempts.

The Panthers have been able to average 69.7 points per game this year while giving up 63.6 points per game. Sophomore forward Michael Young has been very solid for Pittsburgh this season by averaging 14.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game while making 57.1 percent of his shots.
