On Jan 11, The Saint Louis Billikens visited the Dayton Flyers and walked away a 67-59 winner. Dwayne Evans led the Billikens with 22 points, nine rebounds, one assist, one steal, and a block. This game was never really in question as the Billikens built a nine point lead by halftime and never let the Flyers back into the game. Austin McBroom hit all six of his attempted free throws in the final 46 seconds to end the game and to keep Saint Louis undefeated in conference play. McBroom finished the game with 17 points. Coming up on the second time these two teams will face each other, Saint Louis is looking to have no more set backs on their way to the NCAA tournament while Dayton would love to spoil their party.
Over the last 10 times these two teams have played, the Billikens have covered against the spread 7 of 10 times. Six of those seven wins ATS were at home for Saint Louis. However, over the last four games, these two team have split ATS.
In their most recent 10 games, the Billikens are 2-8 against the spread and have not covered in six straight. They've also lost straight up in their last two games. There most recent loss coming against VCU away from home. The Billikens haven't covered in a month so this would be the opportune time for them to do so and to also get back to their winning ways.
The Flyers are 5-5 ATS over their last 10 games and last covered when they beat UMass on March 1. The Flyers are playing good basketball lately and have won SU in seven of their last eight games.
