Saturday night, the Colorado State Rams will face the New Mexico State Aggies.

The Colorado State Rams faced little resistance in their last game on December 22^nd as they beat the Charleston Southern Buccaneers 75 - 54 to remain undefeated at 12 -0. The #24 ranked Rams took their time in the beginning and that allowed the Buccaneers to keep pace for a while. But when the Rams decided to pull away, that's exactly what they did. By halftime, Colorado State was up by 17 points. The Rams opened the 2^nd half with a 3 -pointer to continue the onslaught and they maintained a 20-plus point lead the rest of the way. Daniel Bejarano led the Rams with 15 points as Colorado State shot 49% overall and 44% from 3-point distance. Unless something unexpected happens on Saturday, the Rams will continue their best opening to a season in school history.

The New Mexico State Aggies easily defeated the Northern New Mexico Eagles 78 - 39 on December 22^nd. The Aggies faced some early opposition from the Eagles. The Aggies eventually took control midway through the half. By the break, New Mexico State was up by 19 points. With the Eagles struggling to make shots, the Aggies didn't have to work as hard to secure the win in the 2^nd half. New Mexico State shot 46% from the field as they were led by Remi Barry and his 15 point effort. The win ended a 3 game losing streak for the Aggies but another win on Saturday will be a tall order.
