Pittsburgh and Colorado start their 2014 Championship dreams at 1:40 ET Thursday in Orlando Florida. Neither team really benefits from the proximity of the game but oddsmakers have put the 25-9 Pitt Panthers as early 5.5 favorites over the 23-11 Buffaloes.

Pittsburgh was able to notch two conference tournament victories to secure their NCAA Tournament bid despite losing 6 of 10 to close out the regular season. Pitt doesn't really have a signature win despite playing their first season in the ACC but the resume was impressive enough to the selection committee. Lamar Peterson leads the Panther charge, averaging 17.6 PPG which includes a 30 point game to close out the regular season followed by a 24 point outburst to open the ACC tourney.

The Buffaloes made the tourney despite losing their leading scorer Spencer Dinwiddie but the lack of offense since the guard went down is evident. Colorado couldn't break 65 points in its last 8 games of the season while the under has hit in the last 6. The Buffaloes have shifted to more of an inside game as 6'10 forward Josh Scott has upped his scoring average to 14.1 PPG while bringing in 8.5 boards a game.
