The California Golden Bears will be going for their fourth win in a row when they take on the Nevada Wolf Pack on Sunday afternoon. California was able to beat the Wolf Pack 92-84 at home a season ago.

It took a while, but California was able to avoid an upset by defeating Montana 78-76 in double overtime on Wednesday night. They did have 22 team turnovers in that game, but they were also able to make 50 percent of their shots.

Through their first seven games of the season, the Golden Bears are one of the best rebounding teams in the country by averaging nearly 31 boards per game. Junior guard Tyrone Wallace has been their best all-around player so far this season by averaging 17.9 points, nine rebounds and one steal per game. Senior forward David Kravish is now averaging 12.4 points per game while making 50.7 percent of his shot attempts.

Nevada has now lost four games in a row after beating Long Beach State 68-57 on the road on Wednesday night. They did not shoot the ball well in that game, making just 32 percent of their shots.

The Wolf Pack have been a good rebounding team this year, but their offense has only been able to average 58.7 points per game. Junior center AJ West has been one of their better players this year by averaging 10 points and a team-high 9.9 rebounds per game.
