On Sunday, the Boston College Eagles will be traveling to play the North Carolina State Wolfpack. These two haven't played each other since February of last year. In that game, Rodney Purvis (now a Connecticut Husky) led the Wolfpack past the Eagles 82-64. Purvis ended that game with 21 points and three rebounds. This Sunday's meeting will be two different teams meeting up with seeding on the line for the ACC conference tournament.
Boston College is coming off a loss to Florida State in which they lost 74-70. The Eagles were led by Olivier Hanlan with 20 points, two rebounds, four assists and two steals. In the end it was another conference loss which is something the Eagles have been used to this season.
NC State is coming off a win at Pittsburgh by a score of 74-67. The Wolfpack were led by T.J. Warren who scored a career high 41 points in the game. He also contributed with five rebounds, three assists, four steals and a block. This was the eighth time this year Warren has scored over 30 in a game and helped give the Wolfpack a boost in hopes of trying to make the NCAA Tournament. NC State is currently sitting in the eight spot in conference rankings but are only one game back of Florida State. Chances will be slim of winning an automatic bid by winning the conference tournament so the game against Boston College is a must-win.
NC State is also playing well against the spread. Over their last 10 games they are 7-3 and more recently, they have covered in three of their last four.
On the other hand, Boston College has only covered four times over their last 10 and are coming off another loss ATS versus Florida State.
