On Sunday night, the Belmont Bruins will be visiting the Butler Bulldogs, who are currently on a two-game winning streak. The Bruins are 4-2 on the road so far this season, while the Bulldogs have been able to win all six of their home games.

Belmont snapped their three-game losing skid by beating Fairfield 73-61 on the road last Saturday. They were the better rebounding team in that game and they were also able to make 50.9 percent of their shots.

Through their first 12 games, the Bruins have scored 73.3 points per game while giving up 69.3 points per game. Junior forward Craig Bradshaw has been their top scorer this season by scoring 20.6 points per game while making 53.3 percent of his shots. Senior guard Reece Chamberlain has also had a good start to the year by averaging 8.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and six assists per game.

Last Monday, Butler easily defeated Tennessee-Martin 64-37 at home to snap their two-game losing streak. In that game, the Bulldogs forced 15 Tennessee-Martin turnovers and were able to hold them to a 33.3 field goal percentage.

So far this season, the Bulldogs have played very well on the defensive end of the court, giving up just 56.2 points per game. Junior guard Kellen Dunham is currently leading the team in scoring with 16.8 points per game, and he has made 43.8 percent of his three-point attempts.
