The Alabama A+M Bulldogs are making a trip north to take on the Marquette Golden Eagles at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Friday. The Bulldogs are 1-6 on the season and have lost their first five road games. They are coming off a 65-55 loss at Virginia Tech.

Marquette is seeking to move to 6-4 overall. The Golden Eagles are 3-2 at home this season. In their most recent outing, Marquette downed Arizona State 78-71.

The Golden Eagles have losses at Ohio State, with Omaha, and then neutral court loss to Michigan State, and another home loss to the Wisconsin Badgers. In those four losses, Marquette lost by an average of 10.5 points per game. The leading scorer for the Golden Eagles has been Luke Fischer with 19 per game. In the win over Arizona State, JaJuan Johnson scored team high 22 points while Fischer notched 9 rebounds.

The Bulldogs lone win came on November 22nd against the Oakwood Ambassadors. The Bulldogs have losses at Bowling Green and Virginia Tech in their last two outings. Alabama A+M is scoring 56.1 points per game, led by Ladarius Tabb’s 13.3 per game. This is the fourth of six straight road games leading into the New Year for the Bulldogs. Alabama A+M is part of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
