Free College Basketball Picks: Colorado at Air Force Odds

The Pac-12’s Colorado Buffaloes will look to extend their current six-game winning streak this Saturday afternoon with a trip to Clune Arena to face off against the Air Force Falcons, out of the Mountain West. The game is set to get underway at 4 p.m. (ET).
The Buffaloes stumbled out of the gate with a 72-60 loss to No. 18 Baylor as 2.5-point road underdogs, but since that loss they have been perfect with six straight up wins. They are 3-3 against the spread, and the total has been evenly split 2-2 in games with posted lines.
Air Force is an even 3-3 SU (1-2 ATS) on the year and coming off an 83-60 loss to Richmond this past Wednesday night as a nine-point underdog at home. The total went “over” the 134-point closing line. They are now 2-2 SU at home this season.
Colorado at Air Force Betting Storylines
Colorado has shown the ability to light things up on the scoreboard with 90 or more points in three previous games, and overall they are averaging 78.1 points a game. The Buffaloes have also been solid on the other end of the court and, other than the loss to Baylor, they have held their opponents to 70 points or less in all six games. The team is averaging 39.7 rebounds a game and shooting 46.5 percent from the field.
Spencer Dinwiddle leads the team in scoring with 14.7 points a game, but the Buffaloes have four different players scoring in double-figures. Josh Scott is averaging 12.6 points while pulling down a team-high 8.3 rebounds, and Askia Booker is chipping in another 11.1 points and 2.9 assists a game. Dinwiddle remains the biggest outside scoring threat, and while he is shooting 41.2 percent from the field, he has converted on 44 percent of his shots from three-point range.
The Falcons are averaging just 71.5 points a game, but they are making the most of their opportunities by shooting an impressive 48 percent from the field. They have had their issues under the boards and are ranked near the bottom of the country in rebounds with an average of 33.2 a game.
To get the win this Saturday, Air Force will need another big effort from Tre’ Coggins, who is averaging 17.2 points a game while shooting 49.3 percent from the floor and 46.7 percent from beyond the arc. Max Yon is second on the team in scoring with 13.7 points, and Justin Hammonds has established himself as a scoring threat after posting 12 points to go along with a game-high nine rebounds in Wednesday’s loss to the Spiders.
Colorado at Air Force Betting Tends and Game Lines
BookMaker has opened the Buffaloes as 13-point road favorites for this contest, with the total still OFF the board.
The Buffaloes are 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, but they have covered in 10 of their last 16 games outside the conference. The total has stayed “under” in 11 of their last 15 games.
The Falcons are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games at home, but just 5-6 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The total has stayed under in five of their last eight games.
Head-to-head, Colorado has a 3-1 edge both SU and ATS in four previous meetings. Last season the Buffaloes rolled to an 89-75 victory as 10-point home favorites after squeezing out a three-point win the year before as a 2.5-point favorite on the road.
Free College Basketball Picks: Colorado at Air Force Betting Predictions
Air Force has a good chance to keep this game fairly close deep into the second half, especially playing at home, but Colorado’s overall edge in both talent and depth will take its toll down the stretch as the Buffaloes pull away just enough to win and cover the spread.
