The Philadelphia 76ers will be going on the road to face the Phoenix Suns on Friday night in a game between two of the worst defenses in the NBA. In late November, the Suns blew out the 76ers 122-96 in Philadelphia.

On Tuesday night, the 76ers lost their third consecutive game when they were blown out 126-86 by the Golden State Warriors. They made just 38.4 percent of their shots in that loss and also ended up with 27 turnovers.

Through their first 30 games, the 76ers are near the bottom of the league in both scoring and assists per game. Point guard Michael Carter-Williams is currently averaging 15.1 points, 7.3 assists and 6.4 rebounds per game, but he has a poor 11.4 PER because he has only made 37.9 percent of his shots in 23 games.

The Suns lost their second game in a row on Wednesday night when the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated them 137-134 in overtime. The Suns lost despite making 13 of their 27 three-pointers and finishing with a solid 51.1 field goal percentage.

So far this season, the Suns are ranked in the middle of the league in rebounding and assists per game. Their top player through 34 games has been point guard Eric Bledsoe, who has been able to average 16.6 points, 5.8 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.
