The Philadelphia 76ers and their struggling defense will try to pull off an upset when they visit the high-scoring Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night.

During the 2013-14 season, the Clippers were able to sweep their two-game regular season series against the 76ers. In their second meeting, the Clippers had one of their most dominant games of the campaign by routing the 76ers 123-78 in Los Angeles.

The 76ers are one of the worst scoring team in the NBA by averaging barely over 90 points per game on the season. Point guard Michael Carter-Williams scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds in his one games against the Clippers, while power forward Luc Mbah a Moute has averaged 7.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game against them in 10 career games.

In their game against the New York Knicks on Wednesday, the Clippers dominated on both ends of the court and came away with a 99-78 blowout win. They finished with a 50-40 rebounding advantage and held the Knicks to a 38.1 field goal percentage.

The Clippers are currently in the top five in the league in both scoring and assists per game. Point guard Chris Paul has been one of the best players in the league this season by averaging 17.7 points, 9.4 assists and two steals per game. All-Star Blake Griffin leads the team in scoring right now with 22.6 points per game.
