Washington is in a good spot as they head into their first playoff appearance since 2008. They've clinched the postseason and have three of the final four games coming against Orlando, Milwaukee, and Boston to help stave off Charlotte and avoid Indiana in the 1st round. The final stretch begins Friday night in Orlando where the Magic continue to scratch somewhat.

The Wizards went only 5-5 in a 10 game stretch from March 20th to April 5th but that record is more than enough to stay afloat in the Eastern Conference. Oddsmakers still aren't giving Washington credit as they made them favorites just 4 times in that span (4-6 ATS).

The Orlando defense is in the upper half of the NBA but they weren't able to match that on the offensive end as they miss the playoffs for the second straight year. They've been mired in the bottom 3 of the East all year but have put up a decent fight lately. From March 25th to April 5th Orlando went 3-3 including upsets over playoff bound teams Portland and Charlotte. The Magic finish out the year against Brooklyn, Chicago, and Indiana so Friday at home against Washington could legitimately be their last chance at a W for this season.

The Wizard own the season series 3-0 and look for the sweep against their Eastern Conference cohorts. Washington has been favored each game but has gone just 1-1-1 ATS this season, most recently a 105-101 win as 5 point favorites on March 14th.
