Wednesday night, the Washington Wizards will meet the Orlando Magic.

The Washington Wizards might be a little tired but will certainly have high spirits after a 133 – 132 double overtime victory over the Boston Celtics Monday night.  The game was close in the 1st quarter but the Wizards pulled away to take a slight lead at the half.  They built a 23 point lead in the 3rd quarter before blowing it and letting the Celtics send the game into overtime.  And after the Celtics held on for a second overtime period, the Wizards found a way to slip past Boston to pick up their 5th win in 6 games.  The Wizards shouldn’t have allowed the Celtics to get back in the game and hopefully they won’t do the same thing against the Magic. 

The Orlando Magic didn’t play their best in their last game on Saturday night but they managed to beat the Sacramento Kings 105 - 96 for their 2nd win in a row. The Magic were in control for most of Monday’s game but hey suffered some lapses in the 4th quarter that allowed the Kings to make the game closer than it should have been.  It wasn’t the first time that the Magic had fallen apart late in a game this season and it seems to be a problem that they are struggling to fix.  If the Magic can learn how to play with a lead, they will find that winning games isn’t really that tough it you focus on getting the win instead of preventing the loss.
