On Friday night, the Washington Wizards will attempt to win their fifth consecutive game when they play the Miami Heat. The Wizards and the Heat have already played each other twice this season, with both teams picking up a home win.

The Wizards improved their home record to a franchise-best 13-2 on Tuesday night when they beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 109-95. They made 10 of their 17 three-point attempts in that win and finished with a 50 field goal percentage.

So far this season, the Wizards are scoring 101 points per game while allowing just 96.5 points per game to their opponents. Point guard John Wall has once again been Washington's top player by averaging 17.8 points, 10.6 assists and 2.2 steals per game. Center Marcin Gortat is currently averaging 13.6 points and a team-high 8.3 rebounds per game.

The Heat played one of their worst games of the season on Wednesday night when they were blown out 105-87 by the Utah Jazz. They made just four of their 17 three-pointers in that loss and ended up with a low 38.6 field goal percentage.

One of the main reasons why the Heat have a losing record right now is because they are one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA. They certainly can't blame Dwyane Wade for their poor play as he is currently averaging 22.5 points per game while making 52.2 percent of his shots.
