The Washington Wizards, who are 6-2 against Western Conference opponents this season, will be going on the road on Monday to face the Houston Rockets.

During the 2013-14 season, the Rockets were able to win both of their games against the Wizards. The Rockets won the first meeting 114-107 in Washington, then beat them again by the score of 113-112 at home later in the season.

Rockets shooting guard James Harden has faced the Wizards nine times in his career, averaging 21.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Big man Dwight Howard has been able to average 18.3 points and 12.5 boards per game against Washington in 35 games, while small forward Trevor Ariza has scored 8.7 points per game against them in 15 career games.

On Saturday night, the Wizards outscored the Boston Celtics 30-12 in the first quarter and rolled to a 101-88 home victory. Veteran big man Kris Humphries came off of the bench to notch 18 points, nine rebounds and two steals in the win.

The Wizards have barely been able to score over 100 points per game this season, but they are also holding opponents to less than 97 points per game. Point guard John Wall, who currently leads all guards in All-Star voting, is leading Washington by averaging 17.8 points and 10.3 assists per game while making 45.8 percent of his shots.
