On Tuesday, the Washington Wizards will continue their long west coast trip when they play the Dallas Mavericks, who are 11-5 on their home court this year.

In their first meeting of the season, the Mavs were able to defeat the Wizards 105-102 in Washington. Shooting guard Monta Ellis was Dallas' best player in that win, finishing with a game-high 34 points with four assists.

Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall has played in six games against the Mavs in his career, averaging 17.7 points, 8.5 assists and five rebounds per game against them. Veteran small forward Paul Pierce has averaged 21 points per game against Dallas in his career, while shooting guard Bradley Beal has scored 14 points per game against them in five career games.

The Mavericks outscored the Oklahoma City Thunder 31-19 in the fourth quarter of their game on Sunday, which helped them pull off a 112-107 comeback win. They won despite allowing the Thunder to shoot 50 percent from the field and being outrebounded 53-37.

Through 32 games this season, the Mavs lead the league in scoring with nearly 110 points per game. Veteran power forward Dirk Nowitzki has scored 18.9 points per game this year with 5.8 rebounds per game. Their top scorer is shooting guard Monta Ellis, who is currently averaging 20.7 points, 4.6 assists and 1.7 steals per game.
