The Washington Wizards were able to use multiple big runs to keep the Chicago Bulls at bay and hold on for the 98-89 Game 4 win. They made eight of their 19 three-point attempts while holding the Bulls to just 4-for-19 shooting from beyond the arc to take a 3-1 lead in the series.

The Wizards had about as good a start as they could have hoped for by scoring the first 14 points of the game. The Bulls got to within four points of the Wizards in the second period, but that was as close as they would get the rest of the way. Washington led by as much as 23 points in the fourth quarter and were able to hold off the Bulls' late charge to win by nine.

Small forward Trevor Ariza was fantastic for the Wizards from the beginning and ended up with 30 points, nine rebounds and three blocks in the win. John Wall made just four of his 15 field goal attempts, but he still had a decent game with 15 points and 10 assists. Bradley Beal had 18 points and five rebounds, and he made two of his three three-point attempts.

Taj Gibson was the one player on the Bulls who had a great game. He came off of the bench to score a game-high 32 points after making 13 of his 16 shots attempts. He also had seven rebounds, a block and a steal in the loss.
