In what should be one of the closer series of the first round, the No. 4 seed Chicago Bulls will take on the No. 5 seed Washington Wizards. The Wizards scored about seven more points per game than the Bulls, but Chicago had the best defense in the NBA.

With star point guard Derrick Rose out of their lineup for the majority of the season, the Bulls had to rely on other players to get them into the playoffs. All-Star Joakim Noah definitely stepped up his game this season, notching career highs in points (12.6 per game) and rebounds (11.3 per game), and also leading the team in assists with 5.4 per game. D.J. Augustin, who became the team's primary point guard in Roses' absence, contributed 14.9 points and five assists per game.

All five of the Wizards' regular starters averaged double figures in scoring this season, with John Wall leading the way at 19.3 per game. Second-year shooting guard Bradley Beal greatly improved his scoring touch this season and scored 17.1 points per game while also making over 40% of his three-point attempts.
