In the most unlikeliest of scenarios both Charlotte and Washington find themselves headed to the 2014 playoffs. While both teams will be facing road games to start off the postseason this game essentially comes down to 'who doesn't have to face the Heat' for the first round. As it stands Washington owns the #6 seed and would face Toronto but Charlotte is only 1.5 games behind.

The Wizards would love to get back on the right track as they wind down their final 8 games of the year. By all accounts it's been a successful season but Washington's play lately leaves something to be desired. The Wizards only have four wins in their last 10 games with three of them coming against Milwaukee, Orlando, and the Lakers. They've gone a dismal 2-8 ATS and travel to Charlotte on Monday for what will be their 3rd game in 4 nights.

Charlotte will have momentum and rest when they take on Washington at home on Monday. The Bobcats last two wins have been victories over playoff teams as they've won 6 of their last 10. Charlotte will have had 2 full days of rest by the time they tip off with the Wizards. Al Jefferson has led the charge for the Bobcats having posted double figures in points and rebounds in 7 of the last 10 including a 35 point/15 rebound domination of the Nets last Wednesday.

Charlotte and Washington met up not long ago in D.C on March 12th. The Wizards were favored by -5.5 at home but fell to the Bobcats 98-85. Jefferson went for 26 and 10 as Charlotte pulled away in a game that was 48-46 at halftime.
