The Washington Wizards will be playing in their first of two consecutive games against the Boston Celtics on Sunday afternoon. Last season, the Wizards found a way to win three out of their four games against the Celtics.

The Wizards were able to pick up their fourth win in a row on Friday night when they blew out the Denver Nuggets 119-89 at home. They made 52.9 percent of their shot attempts in that win while also outrebounding the Nuggets 52-36.

Through their first 18 games, the Wizards are in the bottom half of the league in scoring, but they are in the top five in points allowed by giving up just 95.9 points per game. Their most surprising contributor this season has been veteran small forward Rasual Butler, who has averaged 10.4 points per game for them off the bench in just 19.6 minutes per game.

On Friday night, the Celtics picked up their second straight win when they defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 113-96 at home. Center Tyler Zeller had one of his better games as a pro in that game by scoring 24 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.

The Celtics have surprisingly had one of the better offenses in the league this season by scoring 104.4 points per game. Power forward Jared Sullinger has been their best all-around player by averaging 16.3 points and a team-high 8.7 rebounds per game.
