Verizon Center, Washington, District of Columbia
On March 5, the Utah Jazz will be visiting the Washington Wizards. In their last matchup on January 25, the Jazz were able to pull out a 104-101 win at home. Enes Kanter was a force in the middle and led Utah with 24 points, five rebounds and two assists. The Jazz were able to come back after being down by 13 in the fourth quarter behind Kanter's 11-of-13 shooting performance. Derrick Favors was also a big contributor in this game by tallying 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Come Wednesday, both teams will be coming off a loss and wanting to change their fortunes. Utah is currently on a three game skid. Their most recent loss coming to Milwaukee by a score of 114-88. The Bucks were all over the Jazz and used great interior passing to set up easy shots for each other. In the first 15 minutes of the second half, the Bucks shot 16 of 22 and put back the shots they missed with five offensive rebounds. Utah will be looking to get in the win column after having lost six of their last eight games. However, the Jazz have fared better against the spread in that same period of time by going 5-5 over their last 10.
The Wizards just took a loss at home to the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 110-104. John Wall led the Wizards with 23 points, six rebounds, nine assists, a steal and a block but it wasn't enough to overcome Tayshaun Prince and the Grizzlies. That being said, Washington has been playing good basketball lately by winning six of their last seven games and covering in four of them. None of these wins ATS were at home though so we'll have an interesting matchup come Wednesday.
