The Utah Jazz will be heading out on the road on Tuesday night to face the New Orleans Pelicans in a game between two of the worst defenses in the league. In late November, the Pelicans were able to defeat the Jazz 106-94 on the road.

On Sunday night, the Jazz lost their second straight game when the Washington Wizards beat them 93-84 on the road. Utah turned the ball over 17 times in that loss and only made 38.5 percent of their shot attempts.

The Jazz are currently one of the worst scoring teams in the Western Conference by averaging right around 95 points per game. Their top scorer has been Gordon Hayward, who is now averaging 18.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

The Pelicans lost to the Golden State Warriors for the second time this month on Sunday night when they were beaten 128-122 in overtime. Point guard Jrue Holiday had a great game in the losing effort, finishing with 30 points, nine assists and five steals.

Through their first 23 games, the Pelicans have one of the worst defenses in the NBA by giving up over 101 points per game. Small forward Tyreke Evans has had a pretty good start to the season by averaging 16.9 points, 5.8 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game. Center Omer Asik has scored 8.1 points per game while pulling down a team-high 10.9 rebounds per game.
