The Toronto Raptors will be taking on the Portland Trail Blazers for the first time this season on Tuesday night in a game between two of the top scoring teams in the NBA. The Blazers won both of their games against the Raptors during the 2013-14 season.

On Sunday night, the Raptors outscored the Denver Nuggets 28-15 in the fourth quarter to help them pull off a 116-102 road win. They only turned the ball over six times in that win and they made 10 of their 13 three-pointers.

The Raptors are currently one of the top scoring teams in the NBA by averaging nearly 110 points per game. Kyle Lowry has become one of the better point guards in the league and is currently averaging 20.5 points with 7.7 assists per game.

On Sunday night, the Blazers got out to a big lead early in their game against the New York Knicks and rolled to a 101-79 home win. They made 16 of their 36 three-point attempts in that win and held the Knicks to a low 33.3 field goal percentage.

The Blazers are one of the best rebounding teams in the NBA, and they are in the top 10 in both scoring and points allowed. Power forward LaMarcus Aldridge is having another All-Star caliber season by averaging a double-double of 22.9 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. Center Robin Lopez has made 50.5 percent of his shots and is currently averaging 9.6 points with 7.2 rebounds per game.
