The Toronto Raptors were able to dominate the Detroit Pistons the last time they played and ended up winning the game 101-87 on their home floor. It was the second time that they were able to beat Detroit by double figures this season and they did so this time around by out-rebounding them 54-39 on the night.

The Raptors got off to a great start in that last matchup by outscoring the Pistons 29-21 in the first quarter. They used that early advantage to take an seven-point lead into the half. Detroit was able to get back into the game for a few minutes in the third quarter, but a late run by the Raptors turned the game into an eventual rout as they were able to pull off the 14-point victory.

The Raptors had a lot of good performances on the night, but power forward Amir Johnson was their best player, scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in the win. DeMar DeRozan made just eight of his 20 field goal attempts, but he did end up with a game-high 25 points. Point guard Kyle Lowry added 19 points and six assists for the home team.

The Pistons definitely can't fault Brandon Jennings for the loss, as he was able to score 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field. Greg Monroe contributed a double-double in the loss by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds.
