The Toronto Raptors will be playing in the third of six straight road games on Sunday night when they go up against the Denver Nuggets.

Earlier this month, the Raptors were able to beat the Nuggets 112-107 in overtime at home. Toronto made 50.6 percent of their shot attempts in that win and held the Nuggets ti a low 41.3 field goal percentage.

Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas has faced the Nuggets five times in his career, averaging 12.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game against them. Point guard Kyle Lowry has averaged 11.8 points and five assists per game against Denver, while power forward Patrick Patterson has scored 7.5 points per game while pulling down 4.1 boards per game in 15 career games against them.

The Nuggets snapped their two-game losing streak on Friday night when they defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 106-102 at home. They didn't shoot the ball well in that win, but they did end up with a dominant 62-44 rebounding advantage.

Through their first 30 games, the Nuggets have one of the better rebounding teams, but they are near the bottom of the league in points allowed. Point guard Ty Lawson has been their top scorer with 15.8 points per game while also leading the team in assists with 10.4 per game. Small forward Wilson Chandler has scored 14.3 points per game and has made 35.5 percent of his three-pointers.
