Tuesday night, the Toronto Raptors will travel to meet the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Toronto Raptors will have to recover quickly from their game on Monday night.  On Monday, the Raptors hosted the Denver Nuggets and after that game, they had to make their way to Cleveland for Tuesday night’s game.  The quick turnaround might be the only thing that can stop the Raptors in this one because they have been spectacular so far this season.  They own the best record in the Eastern Conference and they have done it more by scoring than by defense.  While they are near the top of the stats in scoring, they are in the middle of the pack when it comes to defense.  They will have to pick it up on the defensive end if they want to get past the Cleveland Cavaliers.

 The Cleveland Cavaliers will also have to make a quick turnaround in preparation for Tuesday’s game.  Cleveland will be back at home after a three game road trip that ended in Brooklyn Monday night with a game against the Nets.  But the quick turnaround won’t be the real focus for this team.  With the return of LeBron James, the Cavaliers were expected to set the pace in the Eastern Conference.  Although they are at the top of the Central Division, they haven’t really been able to separate themselves from the pack.  Cleveland could get some separation if they can repeat their success of last Friday night when they beat the Raptors in Toronto.  The Cavs played great defense in that game and will need the same defensive effort in this one if they want to come away with the win again.
