The Toronto Raptors took a huge lead early in their Game 5 matchup with the Brooklyn Nets, but they ended up needing some clutch play down the stretch to hold on for the 115-113 win. The Raptors now have a 3-2 lead in the series going into Game 6 on Friday night.

The Raptors had a great start to the game and led by 18 points at the half. It looked like the game was over once Toronto extended its lead to 26 points early in the fourth quarter, but the Nets rallied back and point guard Kyle Lowry made a three-pointer to give the Raptors the win.

Lowry was the MVP of the game by going 11-for-19 from the field and finishing with 36 points and six assists. Shooting guard DeMar DeRozan also had a solid all-around game for the hosts with 23 points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals. Backup point guard Greivis Vasquez came off the bench to contribute 15 points and six rebounds.

Joe Johnson was a huge reason why the Nets were able to rally as he finished with 30 points on 13-of-23 shooting, and he also had five rebounds in the loss. Mirza Teletovic came in off the bench to score 17 points and grab seven rebounds for Brooklyn. Paul Pierce took just five shots in the game and finished with 10 points.
