Jared Sullinger had arguably his best game of the season the last time the Boston Celtics faced off against the Toronto Raptors in what ended up being an 88-83 Boston win. The second-year power forward scored 25 points and pulled down a career-high 20 rebounds to help the Celtics snap a 9-game losing streak. Sullinger became the first Celtics player to score 20 or more and pull down 20 or more rebounds since Kevin Garnett did it back in 2007.

Sullinger's big game was almost ruined after the Celtics blew an 18-point lead in the second half. They only shot 34.5 percent from the field for the game, which was mostly due to making just three of their 20 shots in the fourth quarter to let the Raptors back in the game. Luckily for the Celtics, the Raptors shot poorly as well, making just 38.5% of their shots in the contest. Toronto's poor free throw shooting (12-for-25) also helped the Celtics hold on for the win.

Avery Bradley, who started in place of injured star Rajon Rondo, scored 20 points for the Celtics, while Phil Pressey added 10 assists in the win. The Celtics out-rebounded the Raptors 58-44 on the night.

Toronto's top players in this game were DeMar DeRozan, who scored 23 points on 9-22 shooting, and Kyle Lowry, who scored 18 points and added 12 assists in the loss.
