The San Antonio Spurs will head out on the road on Monday night to take on the Portland Trail Blazers in a game that will feature two of the best defenses in the NBA.

Last season, the Spurs and the Blazers ended up splitting their four-game regular season series. The most lopsided score in that series came in their last meeting, when the Spurs were able to pull off a 103-90 win at home.

Spurs shooting guard Danny Green has played in 10 games against the Blazers in his career, averaging 10.9 points and four rebounds per game. Veteran power forward Tim Duncan has averaged a double-double of 18.4 points and 10.5 boards per game against Portland in his career, while point guard Tony Parker has been able to score 15.8 points per game against them in 42 career games.

The Blazers were able to snap their two-game losing streak by beating the Indiana Pacers 95-85 on Saturday night. Their defense was solid in that game, holding the Pacers to just a 38.6 field goal percentage.

Through their first 24 games this season, the Blazers have one of the best defenses in the Western Conference by only allowing around 96 points per game. Power forward LaMarcus Aldridge has been their go-to player this season by averaging a double-double of 22.2 points and 10 rebounds per game.
