The Oklahoma City Thunder avoided going down 3-0 to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Sunday by beating them 106-97 at home. The Thunder outrebounded the Spurs 52-26 in the game and also held their counterparts to just 39.6 percent shooting in the contest.

Both teams were great on offense in the first quarter and the Spurs held a one-point lead heading into the second period. The Thunder found their groove in the second quarter and kept that momentum going the rest of the way. After leading by four at the start of the third period, they kept control of the game the rest of the way and ended up with the nine-point win.

Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook had a great all-around game for the home side with his 26 points, seven assists, eight rebounds and three steals. League MVP Kevin Durant was also solid in the win by scoring 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Reggie Jackson and Serge Ibaka had 15 points apiece.

The Spurs' top scorer was Manu Ginobili, who came off the bench to score 23 points in 24 minutes on the floor. Point guard Tony Parker had his worst game of the series so far by making just four of his 13 field goal attempts and finishing with only nine points in the loss. All-Star power forward Tim Duncan had 16 points and eight rebounds in the loss.
