The San Antonio Spurs will be playing their first of four straight road games on Monday night when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers. Last year, the Spurs beat the Clippers in three out of their four meetings.

On Saturday, the Spurs lost their second straight game when they were beaten 100-99 by the New Orleans Pelicans. They had 18 turnovers in that loss and made just five of their 18 shots from beyond the arc.

The Spurs have played well on the defensive end this season, but their offense is only putting up 92.8 points per game. Point guard Tony Parker has been their top scorer by averaging 18.6 points per game. The ageless Tim Duncan is averaging 14.5 points per game and grabbing a team-high 11.3 rebounds per game.

The Clippers were down by nine points at halftime in their game against the Blazers on Saturday, but they were able to come back and get the 106-102 home win. They took care of the ball well in the game, finishing with just seven turnovers.

The Clippers have been winning games despite having the worst rebounding team in the league through their first six games. Their top performer has been All-Star Chris Paul, who is averaging 16.7 points, 10.5 assists and 2.7 steals per game. Power forward Blake Griffin has averaged a team-high 24.5 points so far this season.
