The San Antonio Spurs, who are 5-3 on the road this season, will be visiting the Boston Celtics on Sunday night. Last season, the Spurs and the Celtics played each other two times, with the Spurs winning both of them.

On Friday night, the Spurs won their sixth game in a row when they beat the Sacramento Kings 112-104 at home. They made 12 of their 24 three-point attempts in that win while only committing six turnovers as a team.

The Spurs are once again one of the top assist teams in the league by averaging 23.9 helpers per game. Their top player has been veteran Tim Duncan, who has been able to average 14 points and 10.1 rebounds per game so far this season.

On Friday afternoon, the Celtics lost their third consecutive game when they were beaten 109-102 by the Chicago Bulls at home. Boston made just 40.2 percent of their shots while also being outrebounded 52-42.

The Celtics are near the top of the league in scoring so far this season, but they are also in the top five in points allowed. Power forward Jared Sullinger has had a good start to the year by averaging 16.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Point guard Rajon Rondo has averaged 9.9 points and 10.6 assists per game while making 45/2 percent of his shots.
